"Raffe" aka Giraffe

We went to the zoo on Friday...the weather was gorgeous. It felt great to be outside after being hunkered down in the house during this most recent heatwave. We went to see the giraffes which are quickly becoming Addison's favorite animal. She has a stuffed animal giraffe at home that her cousins gave her. So, giraffe or "raffe" as she says, was one of her first words. She was very excited to see the giraffes on Friday. Even from a distance they caught her eye and she began pointing and saying "raffe, raffe, raffe." It was fun to see her make the connection from her stuffed animal to the real thing.
