It's been almost 3 weeks since Jake was born. People have been asking how we're doing. My answer is always...good...tired, but good. Jake is not the super-sleeper I remember Addison being (that could just be my memory). He is a super cuddler and would like to sleep in a pair of arms at all times. That worked out fine with extra arms around (Papa Skip, Nana and Papa Mike, Daddy, Grammy). Now we're heading into real life...life that consists of one pair of arms that would love nothing more than to snuggle a baby all day, but must run a household and entertain a 2 year old too. So, my prediction is that the next few days of this "real life" are going to be a bit noisy...I'm preparing for a wailing infant paired with a whiney toddler. So...ask me in 2 weeks how I'm doing. If I'm alert enough to answer you, I will consider them a successful two weeks :-)
