Good Weekend

We had a full but relaxing weekend. Saturday we celebrated my 29th birthday (we'll talk about how old I feel later) and went to a 1st birthday party for Addison's friends, Emma and Taylor. It was such a fun day. Kyle, Addison, and I went to lunch at bakery...it just opened down the street. It was super yummy. Afterwards we went to Emma and Taylor's party. We enjoyed some good time with friends and who can beat watching 2 girls devour their first cake!?! Later that evening we had a picnic at the park and ended the day with a stop for gelato at a coffee shop nearby. I wish I could share some pictures from our day, but I didn't take any!! It was just a perfect day.

Sunday was, of course, Father's Day. It was also an easy-going kind of day. Kyle's wish for his day was to get to watch the US Open. So we went to lunch and settled in for an afternoon of golf watching. Normally I would've scoffed at the idea of watching golf on tv, but it was Father's Day! It actually was fairly exciting. We are watching the tie-breaking round between Tiger and Rocco as I type.
