Okay, so I start each of these milestone posts the same, but seriously...can he really be 6 months old already?!?!
There have been two major changes in our little guy this past month:
1. Solid food.
2. Mobility
That's right, our boy can eat and move. He is eating cereal like a champ. We've also introduced him to sweet potato (loves it), avocado (learning to tolerate it), and banana (scarfed it down).
Jake has also started to "army crawl." I believe the "proper" term is "scooting" but really army crawl is a better description of what he does. He's not super fast yet, but oh my, is my life going to be different! Why is it that babies go for things like cords?? What is so eye-catching about a thin, neutral-colored, plastic string?? We are not big baby proofers (except for things that are life-threatening), we are more of the teaching boundaries mind set...but I digress.
So, here is our sweet-potato-lovin-army-crawlin little guy:
Holding still...he doesn't do this much!
Full-on army crawl
On...the...

...GO!!

Always smiley!
