Thankful

This year we started what I hope will become a Thanksgiving tradition. We made a "thankful tree." I got the idea from HERE. It was both sweet to hear what Addison and Jake were thankful for and a good reminder to practice having a thankful heart.

Here are a few of my favorite thankful tree postings:

I am thankful for Jacob because he obeys Mommy. (Addison)

A beautiful walk with my kids. (Karie)

Hearing the life history of patients who lived through WWII. (Kyle)

Trains. (Jake)

Daddy and how hard he works. (Addison)

Kiki (blanket). (Jake)

Dessert. (Karie)

Pants, because they keep my legs warm. (Addison)

The joy music gives to me. (Kyle)

Grammy. (Jake)

That I can go to the grocery store and buy food to keep my family fed. (Karie)

My job. (Kyle)

I am thankful for my mommy because she is a good food-maker. (Addison)

Cars. (Jake)

A day with no fits. (Karie)

Gymnastics, because I like it. (Addison)

I am thankful for a husband who gives up
Shocker basketball to stay home and take care of his sick wife. (Karie)

Lights. (Addison)
