Photographing a Toddler

It is not an easy thing to catch a good picture of a wiggly, on-the-move toddler. Especially with the delay of our digital camera. I often catch the moment just after the cute moment I was trying to capture. I have countless shots of the back of Addison's head and many of her in mid-blink (which end up looking like she's drugged). Here's the latest attempt to get a good shot of Addison post-bath pre-bedtime (note: for every "bad" shot posted, there were actually 10 shots taken):

Looking down (notice the long eye lashes...she gets those from her daddy.

Looking up

Ahhhh...there's the money shot!!

Oooo and another...that never happens!

Hey! This is a regular photo shoot!! Don't stop now!! Keep workin' it girl...

That's my girl...sigh.

I love reading about what's going on and about your garden! I'm so impressed and envious of the organic eating that's going on! Did you read our blog yet? You were my inspiration!

I think Addison has been very photogenic from day one. There have been hundreds (at least) of great snaps of her taken by many. The question is....how many have been printed and placed in an album?!? I'm so guilty; most are in the computer; our favorites in collage frames on the wall. What ever happened to photo albums anyway? We must remedy that!
