"Unpacking" is the term we've used to describe Addison's favorite activity. The untrained eye would call it making a mess...but she's really developing some essential gross motor and cognitive skills...trust me...I'm a teacher. Okay, I'm full of it, but my daughter has a knack for emptying anything and everything...a laundry basket (of neatly folded clothes), kitchen pantry, bookshelf. I'm trying to channel her "abilities" using her toys, but they're not nearly as interesting.
Well, the other day, Addison did the unthinkable. I had some clothes laying out that needed to be stored away and I left them in Addison's reach. Well of course they ended up on the floor...but then, THEN she started putting them back. My girl is packing!!! Check it out:
